 Line Voltage & Frequency

Here in the USA, we use 115V 60Hz which is used in a few other countries in the world such as Philippines, Canada, parts of Brazil, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras and several others.

Most other countries use 220-240 Volts, 50 Hz, these countries such as England, most/all of Europe, South Africa, Argentina, Russia and a host of others. The Dermalight 80 UVB-081 will only work with 50Hz electrical power. In some countries such as Saudi Arabia, Korea and a few other countries with 230V - 60 Hz power we will ship the 115V 60 Hz model with a transformer (shown above).

If you have 230V 60Hz Power then we you will need a 110V unit (UVB-080 [USA Model] and Transformer) We provide a transformer to change your voltage from 230V to 115V to run the 115V Dermalight 80.

CAUTION IN COUNTRIES WITH 220V/240V POWER

DO NOT SELECT A 1500W/1600W CONVERTER AS A TRAVEL CONVERTER FOR USE WITH THE DERMALIGHT_80. THIS MAY DAMAGE THE UNIT, CALL AMJO TO DISCUSS IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING WITH YOUR DERMALIGHT_80.

GENERALLY SMALL CONVERTERS LIKE THE ONE SHOWN ABOVE WORK VERY WELL. THEY ARE TYPICALLY RATED AT 50 WATTS MAX AND WORK VERY WELL.
